The trails involves some steep paths which are not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs.

- Leave all gates and property as you find them
- Keep dogs under close control, preferably on a lead
- Use gates and stiles where applicable on the route
- Leave livestock and machinery alone
- Take your litter home
- Help to keep all water clean
- Protect wildlife, plants and trees
